For my DIY, I'm showing you how to do a sequin ornament, a little time consuming depending on what size sequin you use, but still interesting to see the final product.

You'll need:
Sequin color and size of choice.
Styrofoam ball (size up to you).
Dressmaker pins (750 should do fine).
Ornament topper (I pulled mine off another ornament I had).

From there you'll start with 1 sequin then add on from there.  Just keep adding row after row after row, etc.

Yes, this one is another color than the one I orginally showed. I actually forgot to take a picture when I put the ornament topper on.
I actually placed the topper on the bottom of the ornament, it'll look fine.
If your ornament is heavy, you'll need to secure it, believe me, it won't secure just in the foam (if it's heavy).
So I placed the topper in the foam, filled around where the topper would lay (with sequin) so no foam would show and then placed some hot glue under the topper.  Pushed the topper down and the hot glue followed gravity and dried onto the foam and topper. Ta-da!

And we are back to the purple one. :)

I hope you enjoyed!
What DIY ornaments have you accomplished this season?
